The labyrinth project seeks to establish a framework for nebulous and self-generative network of creatives; artists, curators, writers, poets and doers of all kinds, a primary resource in this labyrinth we call the South African creative landscape. The project will employ the ‘archive’ and curatorial thinking to establish the initial dynamics of the broader, mapping out relations and relationships that have remained implicit to the activities of creatives. Once established the Labyrinth Project will, with the added capacities of its activated network, be able to offer curatorial services, exhibitions, workshops, peer-crit sessions, lectures, installation spaces and most importantly a dynamic programme and model that artists can draw direct benefit from. We are excited to be part of this project and eager to see it work for artists.
